Abstract:

The kinematic behavior of four types of total knee implants was examined with a virtual knee simulator throughout one cycle of deep knee bending. Internal rotation of the tibia relative to the femur and patellar tilt angle were compared to published kinematics obtained from in vivo fluoroscopy of subjects with the same types of implants.
