BRG Appoints Eric Fahlgren as Vice President of Software Development
VP of software development position filled in response to growing demand for BRG software and services
SAN CLEMENTE, CA – August, 2006 - Biomechanics Research Group Inc. (BRG), the leading global provider of biomechanics simulation tools and services today announced the appointment of MSC.Software, Inc. veteran, Eric Fahlgren, as vice president of Software Development. In his role, Mr. Fahlgren will be responsible for all product development operations for the LifeMOD™ family of software.

Mr. Fahlgren joins Biomechanics Research Group from MSC.Software where he served as a principal architect of advanced modeling capabilities in the ADAMS family of products, including human modeling, parametrics, DOE and optimization. With over 24 years experience in the professional software development field, Mr. Fahlgren brings to BRG vast experience in architecting commercial grade multi-body programs as well as an involvement in a pioneer human modeling program, “Android”, over 17 years ago. Prior to MSC.Software, Mr. Fahlgren held several positions at Mechanical Dynamics, Inc. and Burroughs Inc. Mr. Fahlgren holds degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Michigan.
Since its introduction, LifeMOD quickly became the de facto standard teaching and research tool in many universities throughout the world as well as an essential design tool integrated in CAD environments in many leading commercial institutions.
