BRG.LifeMOD customer base continues to grow at record pace.
SAN CLEMENTE, CA – January, 2006 — Biomechanics Research Group Inc. (BRG), the leading global provider of biomechanics simulation tools and services has concluded another record year of profitability with a 300% increase in revenues over the previous year. The company also announced that its flagship software BRG.LifeMOD™, the world’s leading biomechanics simulation tool, has increased its penetration to several thousand users at over 500 corporations and institutions. This surge in the client base and the fact that BRG.LifeMOD is now integrated into the curriculum in the majority of universities offering engineering and biomechanics programs in 27 countries proves that BRG.LifeMOD has quickly become the de facto standard teaching and research as well as an essential design tool integrated in CAD environments in many leading commercial institutions.
“I have been developing human simulation tools for over 16 years, and the surge we see this year, in my opinion, represents the tipping point for global acceptance of human simulation as a viable scientific tool in many commercial industries and market segments”, said Shawn McGuan, Founder and CEO of BRG. “We take great pride in building and maintaining customer relationships, and this ongoing success provides unsurpassed opportunities to both align our technology direction with customer requirements and to drive the technology into new areas for the enrichment of human life.” Over the next year, the BRG team will be meeting and performing key projects with executives and experts from its current customer base including, Depuy Orthopedics, Caterpillar, Commercial Vehicle Group, EMPA, LEAT Holdings, Medtronic, Orthofix, Smith & Nephew, U.S Army, LifeFitness, Honda Motorcycle, NASA and the Commercial Vehicle Group.
To support this large customer base and in anticipation of an even more successful 2006, BRG will be expanding its team to include many new professionals. Current job openings include software developers, biomechanics scientists, marketing communications personnel, and application engineers. Due to the strict qualifications for maintaining the excellent quality of the current team, the hiring process is expected to be lengthy continuing through 2006.
