Using LifeMOD™ with ADAMS/Controls

LifeMOD™ may be used in conjunction with ADAMS/Controls for co-simulation. This configuration is very powerful for human models using more sophisticated controllers such as central pattern generator controllers, balance control, or muscle dynamics.

1. Start an ADAMS/View session

2. Load the LifeMOD™ plugin (in command window enter "plugin load plugin=lifemod")

3. Load the ADAMS/Control plugin (in command window enter "plugin load plugin=controls")

4. Build the human model with appropriate state variables designated as plant inputs and outputs (see ADAMS/Controls documentation)

5. Export plant model, making sure that lifemod_solver.dll (complete path) is included in the User Defined Library Name window.
